本届共收到来自法国、意大利、英国、西班牙、葡萄牙、乌克兰、日本、韩国、中国及香港、澳门、台湾等全球近百个国家地区的尖端设计师和知名设计机构报名，申报设计作品三千余套，最终入围获奖作品298套，包括建筑设计、室内设计、产品设计共40个专业类设计作品。国际评审团以国际5E（Economie-经济 、Ergonomie-人体工程学、Ethique-伦理、Esthetique-美学、Emotion-情感）评审标准对参评作品进行综合性评估，最终评出专业类金奖35个、银奖77个、国际创新设计奖186个。

二里头夏都遗址是中华文明探源工程项目之一，数字馆设立“最早中国”、“赫赫夏都”、“敬天法地”、“王室巧作”、“探秘未知” 五大篇章，可在三大展示区域穿越华夏历史足迹，为观众开启一场“最早中国”探寻之旅。
