2024年“国际青年领袖对话”年度论坛在北京成功举办
2024年12月5日，由全球化智库（CCG）主办，当代中国与世界研究院支持的2024年“国际青年领袖对话”年度论坛在北京成功举办。本次论坛主题为“前瞻思维，开创未来（Forward Thinking the Way Forward）”，旨在凝聚全球青年智慧，激发跨文化对话，让青年关心世界，让世界关怀青年，共同探索解决全球性问题和青年发展问题的路径。
The 2024 Global Young Leaders Dialogue (GYLD) Annual Forum, hosted by the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) with support from the Academy of Contemporary China and World Studies (ACCWS), is successfully concluded on December 5 in Beijing. With the theme "Forward Thinking the Way Forward," the forum brought together global youth leaders to foster cross-cultural dialogue and collectively address critical global affairs and challenges young people are facing.
本次年度论坛邀请了来自美国、德国、意大利、斯洛文尼亚、印度尼西亚、土耳其、日本、韩国、津巴布韦、洪都拉斯等约50个国家的150位专家学者、青年英才、媒体记者等共同出席，其中近20位各国青年代表为首次访华。
150 participants including senior experts, young professionals, media from over 50 countries like United States, Germany, Italy, Slovenia, Indonesia, Turkey, Japan, South Korea, Zimbabwe, Honduras attend the forum. Near 20 young professionals come to China for the first time.
国际青年领袖对话（GYLD）发起人兼秘书长、全球化智库（CCG）联合创始人兼秘书长苗绿博士代表主办方向与会嘉宾表示热烈欢迎。她表示，“国际青年领袖对话”项目通过4年的发展，已成为全球青年领袖跨领域交流的重要平台，为探索未来发展提供了独特的视角和宝贵的机遇。
In her opening remarks, Dr. Mabel Lu MIAO, Co-founder and Secretary General of CCG and Secretary General of the GYLD program, warmly welcomed the attendees. She highlighted how GYLD has evolved over three years into a vital platform for cross-sectoral exchange among global youth leaders, offering unique perspectives and opportunities to shape the future.
联合国发展系统驻华协调员常启德（H.E. Siddharth Chatterjee）在主题演讲中强调了青年在全球治理中的核心作用，尤其是在落实2030可持续发展议程上的重要作用，他呼吁应进一步加强青年在全球治理中的参与。
H.E. Siddharth Chatterjee, UN Resident Coordinator in China, underscored the pivotal role of youth in global governance during his keynote speech, calling for enhanced participation of young people in global governance, especially in promoting 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda.
全球化智库（CCG）创始人兼理事长王辉耀博士则分享通过个人的职业经历阐释了“前瞻思维”对青年职业发展和推动全球合作的重要意义，提出包括召开联合国和平峰会、建立G10气候峰会、推动人工智能治理以及在全球基础设施领域加强多边合作等具体建议。
Dr. Henry Huiyao Wang, Founder and President of CCG, shared insights on the importance of "forward thinking" for career development and global collaboration. His proposals included convening a UN Peace Summit, establishing a G10 Climate Summit, promoting AI governance, and fostering multilateral cooperation in global infrastructure.
清华大学国强教授、智能产业研究院首席研究员刘菁菁教授的主旨演讲聚焦人工智能在健康、气候变化和科技领域的影响，她鼓励青年抓住人工智能时代的机遇，也激发了与会青年领袖在AI治理和青年赋权方面的思考。
Prof. Jingjing Liu, Guoqiang Professor and Principal Investigator at the Institute for AI Industry Research, Tsinghua University, also delivered a thought-provoking speech focused on the impact of AI on the future and youth. She urged young people to seize the opportunities presented by the AI era, which also inspired global young leaders to reflect on AI governance and youth empowerment.
为积极践行绿色环保理念，论坛向参会青年发出低碳倡议，力求将2024“国际青年领袖对话”年度论坛打造为一场趋近于零碳排放的绿色示范性活动。上海宝碳新能源环保科技有限公司也向论坛赞助了足额碳汇量，全面中和本次活动所产生的碳排放，其董事长兼首席执行官朱伟卿还向主办方代表苗绿博士颁发碳中和证书。
In support of a sustainable future, Global Young Leaders Dialogue Annual Forum 2024 becomes an event achieve carbon neutrality with the carbon reduction efforts of the participants and the carbon offset support from Shanghai Treasure Carbon New Energy Environmental Protection Technology Ltd, whose chairman and CEO, Ms. Susan Weiqing ZHU, presents the carbon neutral certificate to Global Young Leaders Dialogue Annual Forum 2024 represented by Dr. Mabel Lu MIAO.
本次年度论坛还举行了两场对话会，主题分别为“从《未来契约》到实际行动——青年如何发挥引领作用？”和“AI时代的青年人才发展”。
There are two GYLD Chats in the Annual Forum this year, themed at “From Pact for the Future to Real Action: How Young People Could Lead the Way?” and “Navigating the Development of Young People in the Era of AI”.
第一场对话以联合国《未来契约》（Pact for the Future）为背景，来自中国、波兰、美国、爱尔兰、韩国、日本等国青年与清华大学国家形象传播研究中心主任、新闻与传播学院教授范红、1EarthVillage总裁兼执行董事大卫·莫里斯（David Morris）以及全球化智库（CCG）高级研究员、中国责任管理教育与可持续发展研究院联合院长黄海峰深入探讨了青年在推动全球变革中的关键作用。与会嘉宾一致认为，尽管《未来契约》提出了诸多具有远见的目标，如消除性别歧视、推动文化多样性和提供公平教育等，但要将这些愿景转化为现实行动，需要青年的全面参与和引领。
The first GYLD Chat drew upon the UN's Pact for the Future, where young professionals from China, Poland, US, Ireland, South Korea, Japan delved into the critical role of youth in driving global transformation with Prof. FAN Hong, Director of National Image Communication Research Center and Professor of School of Journalism and Communication, Tsinghua University, David Morris, President of 1EarthVillage, and Mr. HUANG Haifeng, CCG Senior Fellow and Co-Chancellor of China Institute for Responsible Management Education and Sustainable Development. All panelists agree that while the Pact outlines visionary goals such as eliminating gender discrimination, promoting cultural diversity, and ensuring equitable education, translating these aspirations into tangible actions demands comprehensive youth engagement and leadership.
第二场对话聚焦人工智能时代的青年人才发展面临的机遇与挑战，来自中国、韩国、埃及、西班牙、德国等国青年与清华大学苏世民书院常务副院长潘庆中教授、哔哩哔哩公共政策研究院院长助理周嗣涵探讨了青年在教育、就业、乃至休闲生活中如何发挥AI潜力。值得一提的是，生成式人工智能大语言模型也作为神秘嘉宾与主持人就这一话题进行了互动。
The second GYLD Chat focused on the opportunities and challenges young people are facing in the AI era, where young professionals from China, South Korea, Egypt, Spain, Germany dialogue with Prof. David Qingzhong PAN, Executive Dean of Schwarzman College of Tsinghua University and Sihan ZHOU, Assistant Director of Bilibili Public Policy Research Institute to explore how young people could better utilize the potential of AI on education, find jobs and even leisure time. It is worth to mention that a generative AI large language model has also been invited to join the discussion.
除年度论坛外，全球化智库（CCG）还在过去2天配套组织了赴北京城市副中心参访等交流活动。12月4日，相关青年还受邀参加了CCG品牌活动——第九届中国全球智库创新年会，部分国际青年代表受邀向资深专家提问互动。
Beside the Annual forum, Center for China and Globalization (CCG) also organize many other activities to enrich participants’ experience like a study at Tongzhou District, Beijing's municipal administrative center. On December 4, they participated in CCG flagship event, the 9th China Global Think Tank Innovation Forum. Some of them are invited to raise insightful questions to senior experts as key listeners.
参与活动的多位青年表示，凭借其多元化的参与者和前瞻性的议题设置，此次论坛不仅加强了在全球话语中的青年声音，也展示了中国对促进国际发展和合作的开放态度。
Many young participants give the feedback that this Forum not only strengthened the voice of youth in global discourse but also showcased China's openness to fostering international development and collaboration with its diverse participants and forward-thinking agenda setting.
