当地时间3月3日，美国总统特朗普在社交平台谈伊朗局势：“他们的防空力量、空军、海军和领导层都不复存在了。他们想谈判。我说：‘太晚了！’”
此前，特朗普在白宫发表讲话时表示，对伊朗的袭击可能会持续四到五周，而美国国务卿鲁比奥则警告，“最严重的打击尚未到来”。
