A special lineup of themed cruise voyages will be launched in Haikou Bay for the upcoming Mid-Autumn and National Day holidays. The offerings include moonlit stargazing, live music, and family-friendly cultural activities on the water.
The route starts at the historic Dongpo Wharf and covers 12 kilometers, passing waterfront landmarks such as Century Bridge, Sky Mountain, the Wormhole Library, and Huacai Plaza. The fleet has two vessels: Hailv 01, with an open-air observation deck and versatile event spaces, and Hailv 03, which adds a second-story deck for panoramic views.
For the Mid-Autumn Festival, exclusive moon-viewing evening cruises will run on September 25 and 26. Each sailing is capped at 150 passengers. Guests can admire the full moon from the deck, take photos at traditional Chinese-themed installations, enjoy a buffet dinner, and watch live interactive entertainment.
During National Day week, the cruise schedule will include both daytime and nighttime options. On the morning of October 1, a family-oriented daytime voyage will sail from 10:00 a.m. to 11:10 a.m. It is limited to 150 visitors and features maritime workshops and sessions on local history and festive cultural traditions.
In the evening, Hailv 01's first nightly departure of the holiday will feature live onboard concerts. Professional bands and vocalists will perform pop, folk, and light jazz as passengers take in the moonlight and the glittering cityscape.
From October 1 to 7, passengers who buy a regular cruise ticket can upgrade for 39 RMB (about $5.50) to receive an adult pass for the Hailv 03 night tour, offering another way to see the bay.
